  Stu Sjouwerman – Treasurer

A serial entrepreneur and data security expert with more than 30 years in the IT industry, Sjouwerman was the co-founder of the Inc. 500 company, Sunbelt Software—a multiple-award winning anti-malware software company that was acquired in 2010.  Realizing that the human element of security was being seriously neglected, Sjouwerman decided to help organizations manage the problem of cybercrime social engineering tactics through new school security awareness training and founded KnowBe4.  More than 5000 organizations in a variety of industries, including highly regulated fields such as healthcare, finance, energy, government and insurance, have mobilized their end users as a first line of defense using KnowBe4.  Sjouwerman is the author of four books with his latest being “Cyberheist: The Biggest Financial Threat Facing American Businesses”.

Phyllis Gorshe – Secretary

Phyllis Gorshe is the Director of the Dunedin Public Library.  She has been a librarian with the City of Dunedin since 2000.  Ms. Gorshe earned her M.L.S. degree at the University of South Florida—School of Library and Information Science and has a B.A. in English Literature from Loyola University.  Ms. Gorshe worked as a Law Librarian, Youth Services Librarian and Reference Librarian prior to assuming the position as Director of the Dunedin Library system.  Constantly innovating new initiatives within the community, Ms. Gorshe has been instrumental in establishing an award-winning seed library for gardeners and Dunedin’s “Little Free Library” community book exchange.  In addition to establishing online business resources and collaboration with local organizations and schools, Ms. Gorshe is involved in library services and literacy at the County and State level.


Elaine Mann – Executive Director

As Florida Business Incubator’s Executive Director, Ms. Mann is responsible for the day-to-day operations associated with the Incubator’s staff and participants; substantiating the direction of the Executive Board; and, championing the Incubator within the community at large.  Further, Ms. Mann’s business relationships with collaborating partners, funding organizations, and other service agencies are invaluable in intensely advocating for the integration of the Florida Business Incubator into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Prior to becoming Executive Director of the Florida Business Incubator, Ms. Mann was known as a pioneer in the mobile media field.  Ms. Mann co-created the first practice-specific, digitally-broadcast healthcare television networks that appeared in physician waiting rooms known as CARE Media.  During this time, Mann quickly surmised the elements that formulate rapid engagement and elicit viewer response.  Utilizing that knowledge, Mann launched NDMand Media Solutions; a team of leaders in their fields who designed cutting-edge mobile media deploying engaging marketing content.

A resident of Pinellas County since 1998, Mann has served on the Boards of the Clearwater Downtown Partnership, the Cleveland Street Business Alliance (Clearwater, FL), the Dunedin (FL) Boat Club and as Chairman of the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority Transit Riders Advisory Committee (PSTA TRAC).  She exhibits an unwavering dedication to seeing the Tampa Bay area become known as an integral hub for small business and entrepreneurship.
